**1. Test Roller Axial Load Tester:**
The roller diameter that can be tested ranges from Φ245 to Φ76 mm. The maximum roller length that can be tested is 800 mm. However, if the customer requires a longer length, we can customize the device accordingly.
**2. Design Principle:**
The tester consists of several key components:
I. A screw regulator for precise control,
II. A high-precision sensor assembly,
III. A screw micro-adjustment mechanism,
IV. A test specimen positioning platform,
V. A multi-step support base for the roller, and
VI. A force application device.
The force application device is used to bring the test sample into contact with the screw micro-adjustment device. If the sample length is insufficient, the screw mechanism allows for fine-tuning of the distance, ensuring more accurate testing. Once in contact, the force application device continues to press, applying an axial load to the roller.
**3. Operating Procedure:**
I. First, securely connect the device’s power outlet to the power supply system. Turn on the power and check the stability of the power supply. Only proceed with the test once the power is stable.
II. Fix the sensor position according to installation instructions. After the sensor is installed, make sure it is firmly secured. Then, connect the sensor to the data acquisition system and observe the digital display on the analysis instrument. If the sensor readings are unstable, stop the test immediately and contact us for assistance.
III. Install the upper pressure device in the designated fixed position. Once secure, mount the bottom tray firmly onto the upper pressure device. Place the test sample vertically and stably on the roller support seat.
IV. Adjust the height of the screw micro-adjustment device based on the roller's length. Ensure the roller makes firm contact with the upper plate before starting the test.
V. During the adjustment process, adjust the position of the lower tray so that the centerline of the inner roller aligns as closely as possible with the sensor’s centerline. This ensures accurate force measurement.
VI. Use the pressure device to apply force gradually. When the sensor reading reaches the specified load value for the roller, stop the pressure. If retesting is needed, observe the inner shaft of the roller for any signs of damage. The maximum force value can be recorded by the microcomputer after the test, displayed in kilonewtons (kN).
VII. Remove the pressure system after the test is complete.
VIII. Check whether the central axis of the roller (including the bearing housing and sealing device) has separated from the outer pipe body. If there is no separation, the roller is considered qualified; otherwise, it is unqualified.
The test is now complete!
