Component Composition
The folding door is primarily composed of a frame, a door panel, transmission components, a swing arm mechanism, a connecting rod, and an orientation device. This type of door can be installed both indoors and outdoors. Each door consists of four panels: two side panels and two middle panels. The side frames of the side panels are connected to the middle panels via hinges. The upper and lower ends of each side panel are equipped with rotating shafts that connect to corresponding seats on either side of the door frame. As the side panel rotates around one side, it simultaneously drives the middle panel to rotate 90 degrees, allowing the entire door leaf to open or close smoothly.
When the electric system is activated, the arm and transmission components are mounted at the top of the rotating shaft. The transmission mechanism and the opener are installed in the upper central part of the door frame. The middle panel is equipped with an orientation device to ensure proper alignment during operation. Once the opener starts, the gears within the transmission system rotate, driving the meshed racks to move linearly. These racks are connected to the rotating arms, which then move in a circular motion, causing the side panels to rotate and open the door electrically. Additionally, safety protection devices are installed at the center seams of the two middle panels. In case of any obstruction, the doors will automatically return to the fully open position, ensuring a safe and reliable operation.
The standard door opening dimensions range from 3,000 mm to 4,800 mm in both width and height. There are 26 different specifications available, including both electric and manual options to suit various installation needs.
Material Production
The door panels are made of metal sandwich panels with either polyurethane or polystyrene foam as the core material. The outer frame is constructed from cold-rolled channel steel, with a surface finish of either spray paint or aluminum alloy extrusion, and is riveted to the sandwich panel for structural stability. The outer frame is connected using special angle connectors to ensure a secure and durable assembly.
The door frame itself is made from a welded rectangular steel pipe measuring 80×60×4 mm, providing excellent strength and durability. All components are designed for long-term use and easy maintenance, making this folding door ideal for commercial and industrial applications.
