On October 6, 2010, on the application of the European Chemical Industry Council (The European Chemical Industry Council), the European Commission initiated an anti-dumping sunset review review of trichloroisocyanuric acid produced in China. The products involved are under the EU combined tariff codes ex29336980 and ex38089420.
The dumping investigation period for this case was from July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010. The European Commission initially selected Japan as an alternative country to calculate the normal value of the Chinese products involved in the case.
In July 2004, the European Union initiated an anti-dumping investigation against trichloroisocyanuric acid produced in China; in October 2005, the European Union made a definite final ruling on the case.
