The Development Situation of Fastener Industry in Brazil in 2012

Currently there are about 300 builders and importers and exporters of screws, nuts, and bolts in Brazil. Most of them are in states like Sao Paulo and Santa Catarina, including Belenus, Jomarca, Industrial Rex and Ciser. The company is a large-scale manufacturer and import and export trader in Brazil.

Among Brazil's screw, nut, and bolt manufacturers, about 10% of the total number of people with hot rolled consumer technology, and the other 90% of manufacturers are consumed by these hot rolling consumer technology companies.

Brazilian fastener companies often seek to collaborate with automobile, furniture, construction, machinery and other industrial manufacturers, as well as dealers or specialty stores such as screws, nuts, and bolts, depending on the use of the product, after exhibiting and setting up agents.

Brazil has more manufacturers of screws and bolts, and there are fewer nut manufacturers. Most of the screws, bolts, and nuts consumed are used in industries such as automobiles, furniture, construction, and machinery. They are used in the information industry. As information product assembly plants export components from abroad, most of them are equipped with screws.

At the request of the international manufacturers, the Brazilian government issued a government decree rule in February 2007. The screws, nuts, and bolts with complicated export functions and no heat treatment must be requested to be exported, and the export declaration price should not be less than 1 per ton. 650 US dollars, but the special use of screws is not within this range.

Mainland China is Brazil’s second largest fastener exporter, and compared with 2010, Brazil’s fastener exports from China increased by 55.11% year-on-year. In addition, the standard parts of the Chinese mainland have a high market share in the Brazilian market, which is almost the standard part of China. The export value of fasteners in China’s Taiwan accounted for approximately 5% of Brazil’s total exports, while the amount of fasteners exported from Taiwan to Brazil accounted for approximately 1.5% of Taiwan’s exports. Most of the fasteners exported from Brazil, such as the United States, Japan, Germany, Italy, and France, are supplied to the auto factories invested by these countries.
