The 4th meeting of the Footwear Standards Committee held in Chengdu

The first session of the Fourth National Standardization Committee for Shoemaking and the 2010 Annual Meeting were held in Chengdu on October 26th, 2010. The theme of this meeting was “The Highest Realm of Standard Competition”, and it came from the International Cooperation Department of the National Standardization Administration Committee. Director Chen Guang, Director of China Light Industry Association General Business Department Wang Xuhua, Director of China Academy of Leather and Shoe Industry Yang Chengjie, Senior Editor Zhang Ying of the National Standard Press, Director Wei Yafei of China Leather Association Shoes Director, etc. Ninety-six people from various parts of the Shoe Trademark Committee and observers participated.

In his address, Director Guo Chenguang briefly introduced China's participation in international standardization and revision, fully affirmed the work of the S&T Committee in 2010, and in particular undertook ISO/TC 137 No. 1 in participating in the revision of international standards. The fifth meeting participated in the revision of ISO/TC 2166 standards and one of them was a leader, becoming an observer of CEN/TC 309. In the process of the meeting, a message came from the National Standards Committee: South Africa has agreed that the shoe labeling committee should jointly assume the ISO/TC 137 Secretariat and Zhang Weijuan as the joint secretary. Subsequently, Director Wang Xuhua introduced the standardization work in the light industry, and Director Wei Yafei elaborated on the general situation and existing problems in the footwear industry.

Secretary General Qi Xiaoxia reported on the 2010 work, the 2011 annual plan, the 2010 annual financial final account, and the 2011 budget. Zhang Weijuan recruited members of the National Technical Committee on Footwear International Standardization Activities and the Committee of Outstanding Members of the Shoemaking Standardization Committee and observers. The method was interpreted. The meeting sent observer certificates to the 14 new observers attending the meeting.

The standard review meeting was presided over by Li Su, vice chairman of the committee. First, the national standard “Peel Strength Test Method for Footwear Whole Shoes” and “Sensory Quality Test Method for Footwear Whole Shoes” were reviewed. Yan Huaidao, team leader of the review team, Wei Yafei and Wan Xianghua, deputy team leaders, and the participants took the initiative to speak in an attitude that was responsible for the industry, improved the content of the two standards, and agreed that the Secretariat would organize the standards into a report and submit the report. . The two country reviews form separate minutes of the review meeting. Afterwards, Tian Wang, secretary of the SPC Committee, reported the expenses of the meeting to all the participants.

In 2010, the domestic footwear standards industry has made great achievements in participating in international standards activities. The Shoemaker Standards Committee stated that it will continue to participate in international standards conferences in 2011, jointly undertake the TC 137 Secretariat, set up domestic counterparts for international standardization work, and submit international standard project proposals. Work in other areas to further improve the international level and the right to speak of Chinese footwear standards.
