On March 21st, the National Science and Technology Support Program “Research on Sugar Cane Variety Breeding and Cost-saving Cultivation Techniques†was launched. This project is the largest amount of agricultural scientific research projects ever invested by the country in the history of our district. It has obtained support from the Ministry of Science and Technology and has earmarked funding of 41.46 million yuan. The project integrates the nation's scientific and technological advantages in sugar cane research, teaching, and business, and jointly tackles key issues and operational mechanisms such as species selection and breeding, and efficient cultivation techniques, so as to improve China's sugarcane new varieties, new technological innovation capabilities, and improve new varieties. The comprehensive benefits of advanced and applicable technologies for organic integration and integration will improve the demonstration and promotion models for sugarcane improved varieties, the quality inspection and inspection technology, and the sugar plant agricultural information service capabilities. It will fully realize the increase of production and income of workers and peasants and provide technical support for the development of the sugar industry in China.
