Security Future Development Trends: Smart + Low Carbon

As global internet users continue to rise, smart devices are reshaping the world. The four key characteristics of smart city development include comprehensive and deep sensing, ubiquitous broadband connectivity, intelligent integration in applications, and sustainable innovation centered on people. These elements define the future direction of urban development. Luo Wen, Dean of the China Electronic Information Industry Development Research Institute, emphasized that the trend of integration across multiple stages in the information industry is becoming more pronounced. It’s no longer feasible for companies to focus solely on one area or technology during their innovation process. Instead, the ability to integrate the entire industrial chain has become a crucial factor in business success. For example, Samsung Electronics achieved its position as the world's leading electronics supplier through vertical integration of its supply chain. Companies like IBM and Hewlett-Packard also emphasize integrated solutions, offering strategic planning, program design, hardware and software development, project implementation, and business outsourcing all under one roof. Integration is set to be a major driving force in the future of security development. Energy efficiency is another critical aspect of smart cities. In line with national low-carbon strategies, technological innovations in energy-saving systems have led to significant improvements in building efficiency. A notable achievement is the "network-intelligent, energy-saving expert central air-conditioning system," which is the first of its kind in the country. At the Siemens Beijing Center, a top green building, lighting in office areas is divided into grids based on desk size and can be controlled remotely from the main control room. During non-working hours, the entire lighting system is turned off, but during working hours, each grid is intelligently managed. When employees sit at their desks, the building’s automatic sensing system adjusts air conditioning and blinds according to light and temperature levels, ensuring optimal comfort. The intelligent control system uses motion sensors. If no movement is detected for a certain period, the lights automatically turn off. Additional energy-saving measures include heat recovery, free cooling, and chilled beam technology, which helped reduce the building’s energy consumption by 28% compared to similar buildings, cutting annual CO₂ emissions by 1,200 to 1,600 tons. Beyond lighting and air conditioning, energy-efficient glass curtain walls also contribute to sustainability. The Guangzhou West Tower, for instance, features over 10,000 OSRAM LED lights. These can be controlled via an intelligent lighting system to create dynamic visual effects at night, enhancing both aesthetics and energy efficiency. Smart cities are evolving through several key innovations. First, comprehensive and deep sensing allows for full monitoring and perception of urban management. Smart cities use various sensing technologies and intelligent systems to recognize and monitor changes in the environment, status, and location, enabling data integration, analysis, and intelligent processing of business operations. Second, broadband ubiquitous connectivity ensures seamless interaction between people, things, and systems. With advanced network technologies, cities achieve full connectivity and real-time communication, acting as the "neural network" of smart cities. This enhances access to information, real-time response, and intelligent services. Third, the application of intelligent integration enables cities to handle massive data from new sensing technologies. Through cloud computing, data storage, computation, and analysis are made possible, enhancing decision-making through human input. Cloud-based projects form the "brain" of smart cities, promoting the integration of cloud and end-user technologies, advancing personal communication, computing, and manufacturing, and enabling on-demand, anytime, anywhere intelligent applications. In conclusion, the trend toward intelligent integration demands that the security industry move toward higher value-added solutions. The development of cloud computing and big data services should be a priority for China’s IT industry to implement catch-up strategies. Data sharing across sectors such as government, culture, education, healthcare, finance, transportation, and energy will drive the growth of big data applications in areas like multimedia search and precision marketing. This will accelerate the development of smart terminal operating systems and improve the construction of information service networks, ultimately enhancing customer experiences.

Power Tools

power tools are hand-held, transportable electric tools in which motor is inseparable part of the machine. Examples of conventional electrically power tools are screwdrivers, drills, routers, sanders and a variety of saws, such as jigsaws, reciprocating saws and circular saws. Compared to Hand Tools, Power tools can help you to complete home repair and large-scale projects with speed, ease and safety.
