This universal laser scanning inspection device is suitable for the detection of various leaf types. This new series features fast scanning, high precision, and high reliability measurements. It can be used for the detection of various jet engine blades, such as fans, engines, blades and other components. The METROPTIC MARS software provides complete leaf reference data for each blade section and calculates the parameters for all intersection points. BLAZER measuring machine supplementary instructions:
1. High precision makes the blade fillet radius up to 35μm with BLAZER 2S; the minimum fillet radius of the blade is measured with BLAZER 2M up to 65μm;
2. The cross-section measured by the BLAZER measuring machine is often optimized to be 20 μm compared with that obtained by the CMM measuring machine;
3. Detection time: Small blades take 45 seconds; large fan blades take less than 8 minutes.
4. The surface defects measured by the BLAZER measuring machine may be ignored by the CMM measuring machine.
5. The BLAZER measuring machine also has the ability to measure the intersection and sharp points of the blade root, and additional detection can be used in both measurements.
two. MARS software
The blade measurement application is based on MARS software and gives you the opportunity to calculate all known leaf parameters based on the actual scan points. The use of MARS software makes the inspection equipment used by any blade manufacturer more flexible. At the extra cost, the blade measurement application brings specialized measurements to a wide range of components. The MARS software operator interface allows the user to obtain complete information about the parameters and graphics of each cross section online.
