The session highlighted the government's intention to support leading companies such as Yihua, Xingfa, Yangfeng, Saning, and Xiangyun in expanding their operations this year, with a focus on boosting industrial concentration and efficiency.
The provincial authorities will implement stricter access controls for new chemical fertilizer projects, aiming to curb unnecessary expansion and ensure sustainable development. Additionally, they plan to actively and steadily eliminate outdated production facilities, ensuring that only advanced and environmentally friendly technologies remain in operation.
Looking ahead, Hubei will continue to push forward with the elimination of backward production capacity, facilitate corporate mergers and reorganizations, and foster the growth of emerging industries. A comprehensive set of measures—including phase-out, shutdown, relocation, upgrading, and outward transfer—will be employed to achieve structural adjustments across the sector.
