Analysis of hydraulic protection system of vacuum oil filter

Since the introduction of vacuum oil filters, hydraulic presses used for vacuum oil pressing have become widely adopted by manufacturers. These systems typically consist of a hydraulic station, oil cylinders, pistons, piston rods, and compression plates connected to the piston rods. The system also includes a motor, oil pump, relief valve, directional control valve, pressure gauge, oil lines, and a reservoir. **Analysis of the Hydraulic Protection System in Vacuum Oil Filters** As a professional manufacturer of vacuum oil filters, Dual Energy Oil Filter Company is dedicated to delivering high-quality, efficient vacuum oil filtration solutions at competitive prices. We pride ourselves on offering a ten-year warranty on our vacuum filter machines, along with free installation, equipment commissioning, and on-site operator training. Our product range includes various types of vacuum oil filters, such as lubricating oil vacuum filters, hydraulic oil vacuum filters, turbine oil vacuum filters, transformer oil vacuum filters, two-stage vacuum oil filters, high-efficiency vacuum oil machines, multi-functional vacuum oil filters, anti-fuel vacuum oil filters, and high-viscosity oil vacuum filters. The hydraulic press systems used in vacuum oil filtration are generally composed of a hydraulic station, oil cylinder, piston, piston rod, and compression plates. They also include a motor, oil pump, relief valve, directional control valve, pressure gauge, oil circuit, and fuel tank. When the hydraulic press operates, the hydraulic station supplies high-pressure oil, filling the chamber formed by the cylinder and piston with oil. When the pressure exceeds the frictional resistance of the pressing plate, the plate gently and evenly compresses the filter plates. Once the pressing force reaches the set pressure value of the relief valve, the pressure is tightly controlled by an electric contact pressure gauge. The upper limit pointer and the lower limit pin of the pressure gauge are set according to the process requirements. When the pressing force reaches the upper limit, the power is cut off, and the oil pump stops supplying oil. Due to internal or external leakage in the oil circuit, the pressing force may decrease. When the pressure drops to the lower limit of the pressure gauge, the system automatically turns on the power, starts the oil pump, and resumes oil supply until the pressure reaches the upper limit again, at which point the power is cut off. This cycle ensures consistent pressing force throughout the filtration process. Once the filter plates, frames, or membranes are compacted, the overflow valve begins to unload. At this point, the motor power is turned off, and the pressing action is complete. After the return stroke is finished, the directional control valve reverses, allowing pressure oil to enter the rod side of the cylinder. When the oil pressure overcomes the frictional resistance, the pressing plate begins to retract.
