The inspection team first held a briefing session with hotel staff, educating them on fire safety regulations, emergency procedures, and key fire prevention concepts. During the inspection, officials discovered several issues, including incomplete or disorganized fire control records, employees lacking knowledge about the "four capabilities" (the ability to report fires, use fire equipment, extinguish initial fires, and evacuate safely), and some fire equipment either damaged or improperly used.
In response to these findings, the authorities issued an immediate "Notice of Order for Immediate Correction," requiring the hotel to rectify the issues within a specified timeframe, as mandated by Article 16 of the People's Republic of China Fire Protection Law. This legal action underscores the seriousness of fire safety compliance and the responsibility of all establishments to maintain safe environments for guests and staff alike.
Following the inspection, the law enforcement officers reminded the hotel’s fire safety officer to take full responsibility for identifying and eliminating internal fire hazards. They urged the management to strictly fulfill their fire protection duties and ensure that the hotel remains a secure and safe place for all visitors. The inspection serves as a critical reminder of the ongoing need for vigilance and proactive measures in fire prevention.
