Spring parameters and steps required in mine lifting experiments

The original parameters of the mine have been upgraded to enhance safety and efficiency. (1) The self-weight of the cage, including the rope loop and other components, is 3960 kg, with a maximum load capacity of 3300 kg. This includes: a mine car weighing 600 kg, ore weighing 1800 kg, and an occupancy of 12 people totaling 900 kg. (2) The lifting wire rope used is of specification 18@7-34-170 steel wire, with a total cross-sectional area of 478.72 mm², a suspension length of 300 m, and an elastic modulus of 14.3 N/cm. (1) The cage is designed to be accurately received by the receiving device even when carrying the maximum rated load at normal crawling speed, ensuring smooth entry and exit of the mine car. (2) In the case of a light tank (empty tank with one person), the cage should be able to buffer its fall onto the receiving device when descending at an over-discharge speed. According to the requirements outlined in Execution Note 6 of the Coal Mine Improvement Design Code 6 and 5, the buffer deceleration must exceed 1g when lifting materials (heavy tank), while it should remain below 5g for light tanks (with one person). The design parameters for the bottom hole cage of the auxiliary shaft in the city coal mine are as follows: claw length is 270 mm, cage claw depth is 60 mm, side middle distance is 170 mm, spring total stiffness is 1197 N/mm, spring preload is 90 kN, and the claw buffer limit stroke is 169.7 mm. The bearing capacity is calculated using the formula: Fc = 170cosA(9163 + 1702KsinA) / (2102 + y²). Substituting actual parameters, the maximum bearing force is 117 kN, the force point is located at 110 mm, the average braking force is 107 kN, and the maximum deceleration for the empty tank is 3.06g, with a speed of 2.8g. Using the formula V² = 2as = 2ay, the minimum critical speed of the tank cans is over the claws at 3.05 m/s. For the heavy tank, the average deceleration is 1.508g, and the minimum critical speed through the claws is 2.23 m/s. A 24-test was conducted under simulated worst-case conditions for the empty tank at maximum deceleration. **Experiment Method:** (1) Remove the 2 m/s speed protection near the wellhead. (2) Move the upper wellhead over-winding switch to the tank cage and verify its reliability. (3) Confirm the speed measuring generator; the speed measuring voltage is 215V at 6.7 m/s. (4) Set the relative position of the hoist drum when adjusting the claws of the bottom hole cage, and mark it so that the driver can brake accurately. (5) A live goat weighing approximately 18 kg was placed inside the tank for animal testing. These upgrades ensure enhanced operational safety, improved performance, and compliance with modern coal mine standards.
