Profiled steel plate classification

According to the substrate plating, there are the following six categories:

1) Galvanized steel sheet

The galvanized steel sheet has a double-sided coating weight of 75-700 g/m according to ASTM three-point test. The most commonly used galvanized steel sheets for building applications are Z275 and Z450, and the double-sided galvanizing amount is 275 g/m (the minimum one-sided plating of the steel sheet) The thickness is 19 μm) and 450 g/m.

2) Aluminized steel plate

There are two common types of aluminized steel sheets for construction:

(1) For environments with high heat resistance requirements: the metal plating of such aluminum-plated steel sheets contains 5-11% silicon, the alloy plating layer is thin, the weight of the aluminum plating layer is only 120g/m, and the single-sided plating layer is the smallest. The thickness is 20 μm.

(2) For corrosive environments: almost all of the metal plating is aluminum, the metal plating is thick, the weight of the coating is about 200g/m, and the minimum thickness of the single-sided coating is 31μm.

3) Aluminized zinc plate (also known as lead-plated steel plate)

(1) It is a double-sided hot-dip galvanized steel sheet product whose steel sheet substrate conforms to ASTM A792 GRADE Class 80 or AS1397 G550 grade and has a tensile strength of 5600 kg/cm. The metal coating consists of 55% aluminum, 43.5% (or 43.6%) zinc and 1.5% (or 1.4%) silicon. It has the long-term corrosion resistance and heat resistance of aluminum; zinc protects the cutting edge and the scratch gap; while a small amount of silicon can effectively prevent the aluminum-zinc alloy from chemically reacting to form fragments and make the alloy coating more uniform. Aluminum steel plate.

(2) Double-coated three-point test weights were 150, 165, and 189 g/cm. The commonly used galvanized steel sheet for construction is AZ150, which is 150 g per m coating, and the minimum thickness of the single-sided coating on the steel sheet is 20 μm.

4) Galvanized aluminum steel

It is a double-sided hot-dip coated steel sheet containing 5% zinc and aluminum and mixed rare earth alloy. The three-point test double-sided coating has a weight of 100-450 g/m.

5) Galvanized alloyed steel plate

It is a double-sided galvanized steel sheet which is heat-treated by hot-dip galvanized steel sheet to convert all the pure zinc coating on the surface into a Zn-Fe alloy layer. According to the existing process conditions, the weight of the conversion coating is calculated according to zinc, and the maximum is 180g/m.

6) Electrogalvanized steel sheet

It is a pure electro-galvanized steel plate product with a maximum weight of 180g/m on both sides. It is generally not used outdoors.

The most commonly used in building roofing (and curtain wall) are colored galvanized steel and colored galvanized steel.
