C7 PLUS nano-optimized combination tool coating

Unimog pioneered the development of a new tool coating, the C7 PLUS. This new coating is ideal for dry machining and outperforms the original coating at all possible cutting speeds. “Our original C7 coating has proven to significantly improve tool performance, and the new C7 PLUS coating has achieved better results.” The manager of Unimog Coating said, “C7; PLUS coating is excellent. The heat resistance maintains stability and high quality at a high temperature of 1100oC and maintains the hardness at 45GPa. In actual production, this means that the C7 PLUS coating does not oxidize at such high temperatures compared to other coatings. We have patented this technology."
The properties of the coating depend on its composition, ie the structure of the coating. C7 PLUS is a coating with a unique nano-optimized combination structure, so it is stronger and more resistant than other coatings, and its performance is also stable compared to the original C7 coating, which has more advantages in expanding the processing application range. Increased stability means longer tool life and fewer tool changes.
