Solar thermal and solar photovoltaic

Solar thermal energy refers to the solar thermal energy.

Solar thermal energy utilization, in addition to solar water heaters, there are solar houses, solar cookers, solar greenhouses, solar drying systems, solar soil disinfection and killing technology.

Solar thermal power generation is an important aspect of solar thermal energy utilization. This technology uses solar collectors to concentrate solar radiant heat and heat water to generate steam, which is then used to generate electricity through steam turbines and generators. According to different heat collection methods, it is divided into high-temperature power generation and low-temperature power generation.

If solar energy is used to solve the hot water, heating, air conditioning and lighting energy in buildings in an all-round way, this will be the most ideal solution. The integration of solar energy and construction (including high-level) research and implementation is an important direction for future development and utilization of solar energy. It is also the root of the entire solar industry. Although no real progress has been made in this area, due to the demand and efforts of the world, I believe that there will be a breakthrough soon.

Solar photovoltaic power generation system is a new type of power generation system that utilizes the photovoltaic effect of semiconductor materials of solar cells to directly convert solar radiation energy into electrical energy. It has two modes: independent operation and grid-connected operation. Independently-operated photovoltaic power generation systems require storage batteries as energy storage devices, which are mainly used in remote areas and scattered population areas without power grids. The overall system cost is high; in areas with public power grids, photovoltaic power generation systems are connected to the grid for grid operation. Eliminating storage batteries not only can significantly reduce the cost, but also have higher power generation efficiency and better environmental performance.
